Away from London, there were the Literary Festivals and Summer Schools, not forgetting the Textile Art weekends and Drawing for the Terrified!
I plunged headlong into this excess but I felt disquiet on several fronts. Trying to re-engage with my inner year nine artistic self was baffling. I couldn’t find many playmates to share my interests and I noted the real lack of local provision in my part of south London as more and more land was grabbed for large scale housing projects.
Here I share the highlights and some of the more low points of my creative outputs.
